Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and concussions are types of brain injuries that can occur from sudden trauma, such as an auto accident. While concussions are often considered mild TBIs, they can still have significant effects on cognitive function, balance, mood, and overall quality of life. Dr. Thatcher is very professional, and takes care of his patients needs. My personal experience was after my car accident I went to his office, he had me get an X-ray before an adjustment. Which I'm glad he did because the adjustments are curated around the injuries I sustained. Also when it comes to scheduling and short notice; he's extremely accommodating, I've been to a chiropractor before that had me there for hours each session. Dr. Thatcher however gets you seen/treated in no time. So highly recommend for anyone who's been in an accident or even needs some type of adjustment.

TBI/Concussion screenings involve a series of evaluations aimed at assessing brain function and identifying any signs of injury. The process typically begins with a thorough medical history review and symptom assessment, followed by cognitive and neurological testing to evaluate memory, concentration, and motor skills. Balance and vestibular assessments may also be conducted to check for inner ear dysfunction or coordination issues. In some cases, imaging tests like MRI or CT scans are recommended to detect structural brain damage. These screenings are performed by trained healthcare professionals and provide critical insights to guide treatment plans, ensuring patients receive the care they need for optimal recovery.
